Just wanted to clarify are you looking to configure the email options to allow it to be sent to customers or is it text and a field you would like to have displayed on the layout when it is printed / emailed?

Thanks Reuben, sorry for the confusion, so where is the data that you want to insert currently held, when you refer to a preferred role, where is that information?

The data is within Sage in the Customer account record under Contacts

I want to show the email of the Contact that has the 'Send Invoice To' contact role set as preferred

For clarity I'm looking to display the email address in the report

The context here is there would be a sentence showing on the dispatch note saying: The invoice will be emailed to [email address].
