This has now be included in Sage 200cloud Summer 2019 and the latest version of Standard Online.

API Enhancements

Sage 200 has a dedicated developer and partner community who use our developer tools extensively to customise the software to customers business requirements. We'd like to hear feedback on areas where the API needs to be extended.

We would like the API extended to include nominal transaction analysis codes on invoices and credit notes please.

Re Sales Orders for the the API to be extended to upload the entire order, at the moment understand that there is limitation on the number of fields that can be uploaded, eg the not possible to post payments…

We need a simple API call that can get the Access and Refresh Tokens WITHOUT any GUI (like the existing popup window) so that we can call it from windows Services that cant display winforms. That or a way to just try to connect and get back a simple "access failed" or "Token Failed" and then IF we want to show the popup make it optional parameter!

The ability to allocate and dispatch via SOP, Transfer stock between locations and POP GRN is commonly requested.

Could you please include nominal transaction analysis codes on invoices and credit notes on your API. It is rather strange that this was left out, as it forms a vital part of analysing our accounts just as much as departments and cost centres. The exclusion prevents any form of automation of our invoicing process with Sage.
