Pay Now button on Pro Forma Invoices

We use invoice payments via Stripe for SOP invoices but would like to extend this to pro forma invoices also.

Currently it is not possible to add a Pay Now button to a pro forma invoice layout.

The benefits of having this on pro forma invoices are that our customers can pay promptly so we can expedite the shipping process. These customers also tend to be B2C and so find it more convenient to pay by card. It would also allow us to check which pro forma invoices have been paid with greater ease, using the process invoice payments option rather than manually checking our bank to see which pro formas can be converted.

  • We use Spindle Professional Tools to add PayNow button to Pro Forma Invoices - Works lovely!

    I use Spindle to add the payment link on our invoices but as far as I understand it, Sage generates the URL while the invoice document is produced, which I then pass through to Spindle using a #var#. I can't see how to do this for a pro-forma as there is no option to add the Pay Now button in Rep Des and therefore cannot get a URL to give to Spindle. Are you just building your own URL outside of Sage?

    We send the Pro-Forma Invoice via Spindle, the same as Invoices - Just add in the code as you would for the Invoice PayThem Button and allow the Spindle PayThem service to handle the URL etc.
