ODBC is compatible with v30 - 64 bit.

Based on the error, you just need to update your data path for ODBC for v30 >>

I copied the datapath from the Sage>Help>About page. I've even deleted all the connections and tried to set it up from scratch. 

Are you saying the error message suggests something as simple as the wrong path?

The error message you are getting happens if you point the v30 ODBC driver at a data path that does not contain v30 data, so it will either be that the path provided is not correct, or that the data in that path has not been converted to v30 format yet.

Yes, that errors means we're pointing the v30 driver at an older version of accdata (data path) or it's not quite right.

To change the data path in the ODBC driver

1. Start button > Search programs and files box > type odbcad32 > Enter. 

   Note: For a 64-bit version of Windows, type C:\windows\syswow64\odbcad32.exe > Enter.

2. System DSN > select the data source for your version of Sage Accounts, for example SageLine50v25 > Configure.
3. Change the Data Path box to show the company's data directory > OK > OK.

Thanks Ian. I've been really careful to put the path in. Sage Support couldn't sort it either, so I'm awaiting another support person from a different department.

I've tried on two laptops - one with Sophos and the other with just the Windows security set-up. Both worked pre upgrade yesterday.

You are missing ACCDATA from the end of that path by the looks of it

Can you copy and paste me that data path from DataPath on the "Sage 50 2024 ODBC Setup" screen?
