No Dashboard option visible in V28 on remote access

SOLVED

Hi,

I'm WFH at the moment and accessing the office with a remote data connection.

The main site PC has a dashboard feature but I don't have one here.

I'm wondering whether I need to seek permission to access the main site dashboard or if I should also have one on this laptop already?

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Andy

    SUGGESTED

With v28 onwards there is no longer a concept of 'main' or 'remote' sites and all sites are now equal. This means that dashboards are available on all sites in Remote Data Access so if you do not see the option it would likely be because the user you are logging on as does not have permissions to see the feature. To resolve this simply log on as the MANAGER user (or any user with system admin access), edit your normal user account that you are logging on as and grant access to dashboards.

    Hope that helps

    Hi Darron,

I've only just got around to checking this.

I am signing on as manager and also with other profiles that are setup (its my own business) to view the dashboard.

At the office the dashboard is present where the user profile allows it and isn't for those that have no permission for it.

However, signing on with any of the profiles that have permission to see the dashboard from a PC at home it does not show at all.

I am running the latest version of Sage (28.0.226.0)

Is there an option to switch the dashboard on/off that I am missing?

    Kind regards

    Andy

In the top left hand corner of your Sage program does it say Sage 50 Accounts or Sage 50cloud Accounts?
