We have a range of shipping rates that are all dependent on the weight of the order. At the moment, we have to create the order, click print to find the weight on our created layout. After this the Sales Order window automatically reverts to a new Sales Order. This has to be closed down at which point we reopen the Sales Order we're after, to input the delivery cost.

This is an extremely long process for something that we have to do on 99% of our orders. I also imagine that many other companies like us base their shipping rates on the weight of the order.

If this can't be achieved, maybe an option to "print preview" at which point you can select your desired layout. Once the total weight is noted, the preview can be closed and the sales order you're working on remains open.
