Errors submitting pension data to provider

I have opted someone out of the pension, they have changed their mind and I want to opt them back in. I have errors sending data to my provider - NEST IFC01645. I do not know how to correct this.

    Thanks for using Sage City.

    When you attempt to send pension data, the following error message appears:

    'IFC01645 : This member does not belong on this schedule. Please check that they've been enrolled and are still an active member. Also check if they're in a different group or payment source to the workers on this schedule.'

    You may also see similar wording of this message: "The information you've entered for this member doesn't match this schedule. Please check that the earnings period for the member matches this schedule. You should also check that the payment source or start date for this member matches this schedule."

    There are two reasons for this:

    • If the error appears even though the employee is assigned to the correct group, it's because NEST are rejecting the information. If this is the case, you need to contact NEST to find out why they are rejecting the submission.

    • You've made changes to the employee's record but not made the same changes on the NEST portal. For example, the opt-out you ran for the employee. To resolve this, you need to log into the NEST portal and make the required changes.
