Re-Enrolment - Opt Out

Good Morning

I do not have the pension module & I am due to re-enrol employees into the auto enrolment scheme next month.

If an employee opts out within the first month and is therefore due a refund on the pension contribution taken will sage do this automatically when I tick the "opt out" button or will I need to be prepared to manually process the refund of the contribution?

    You are opting out an employee via Pension Assessment. You will have a box "Refund first month's contributions of:" It should show the total value for ER and EE. On the payslips however you will see the split amount. If it doesn't work you need to process a post tax/NI refund manually. We always wait with the refunds until we've heard from pension provider regarding refunds.
