Sage calculated negative employer pension deduction, why/how?

SOLVED

Hey,

Hopefully someone here can help me as I cannot find an answer online.

In my July payroll, one staff members er pension has been calculated as a deduction of -£539.15.

The employee pension is correct @ £69.02.

Nest will not accept the negative value here for er pension, which is what brought the issue to light.

The staff member has been set up on a pension scheme since apr 2019, which is set to the correct ee 5% and er 3%.

She came off maternity in Jun.

I am hoping that if someone can help me understand why this happened then I can fix it.

Any clues?

I've pretty much figured it out.

I posted a minus salary value as I overpaid last month and the rest of the staff members pay was furlough.
This minus salary seems to have posted as a salary sacrifice that has deducted in full against employers pension.

Some kind of weird and not so wonderful glitch that has resulted in me having to roll back, argh :(
