Sage CRM is constantly evolving to provide a better user experience. This update focuses on simplifying the user interface and improving performance.
Sage aims to make Sage CRM simpler and more efficient.
Two features are being deprecated to achieve this goal: Detached Table-Level Scripts and all themes except Contemporary.
Detached Table-Level Scripts
These scripts can impact performance if not used carefully.
Alternative
Escalation Rules offer a more efficient and reliable way to achieve the same results.
Migration Steps
- Check your database to see if these scripts are used.
- Identify the event, conditions, and actions of your script.
- Recreate these elements within an Escalation Rule.
- Migrate your scripts as soon as possible.
- Support for migration is available from our support team or Sage Community Hub.

Themes (except Contemporary)
- Themes control the visual appearance of Sage CRM.
- Starting with Sage CRM 2024 R1, only the Contemporary theme will be fully supported.
- All other themes will be unsupported in Sage CRM 2024 R2.
Alternative
Use the Custom Theme folder to personalize the Contemporary theme with CSS.
This folder allows for a smooth transition and continued customization.
