Sage CRM Sales Lite App Error

We are getting an error when trying to "Update Data from Sage CRM" in the Sage CRM Sales Lite App.
One particular user logs into the application on his iPhone, clicks the Update button and gets the following error:

Download Error
Could not connect to the server

There is nothing in the logs indicating an error and no error/relevant SQL request is returned when doing a SQL trace when the update is in progress/errored.

This is working for other users fine.

Has anyone else had a similar issue to this, and if so, were you able to resolve it at all?
