Error When Using Outlook Plugin to Send and File New E-mails

Hi,

After sending out new e-mail by using Classic Outlook Plugin version 7,3,3 for CRM 7.3 SP3 Hotfix4, an error message pops up. I reviewed Outlook log, no error is logged. I then found that the e-mail is actually filed to Sage CRM. I wonder why this error message pops up, and how to get rid of it. Attached is the error message.

    Hi,

    I'd get your local support team to have a look at this one. There's likely something useful in the errorsdn.svcLog (you'll see this under c:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Sage\CRM\OutlookPlugin on the client). That log file can be opened using Microsoft's SvcTraceViewer.exe.

    If the logs don't provide anything useful, then it should be possible to intercept the messaging going back and forth between the plugin and CRM using Fiddler, but I don't think we're at that stage yet: I'd take a look at the logs, and get someone from Support involved if needs be.
