1 minute read time.

Did you know that each Sage 100 User can set their own preferences for how Sage 100 appears without requiring administrator rights? The View Ribbon has options to change many aspects of how Sage 100 appears including:

· Font and Window Size

· Sorting Modules, Module Menus, and Tasks

· Desktop Theme

· Number of Recent Items to Show on Recent Ribbon (2023)

Changing the Font Size

On the View tab, click Application Scaling and select a font size. The text on both the Desktop and the task windows is resized. Note some scaling options may not be available based on the resolution of your current screen.

Setting the Number of Recent Items to Show (Sage 100 2023)

On the View tab, in the recent group, enter the number of items to show on the Recent tab. For example, if you enter 12, then the Recent tab will display the last 12 tasks accessed.

To add the Recent tab to the ribbon, right-click any item in the ribbon and select Show Recent in the Ribbon.

Alphabetizing Modules, Module Menus, and Tasks

On the View tab, in the item arrangement group, select the available check boxes to alphabetically sort the module list, the module menus, and the tasks.

Applying a New Desktop Theme

Select from pre-defined desktop themes to change Font and Background color by selecting them from the Visual section of the View Ribbon.  There are Dark Mode themes available.
