Please review the attached document. I cannot figure out why the application isn't remember where the last user opened a file from, is there anything I can do to fix this.

What I have done is create a shortcut to the folder I want on the sidebar. You can do this by dragging the address bar to the Favorites area when you're in that folder.

It's one extra click, but it's a lot faster than having to browse to the desired folder over and over again.
