Customer Last Purchase History on Sales Order not working

Hi Guys

So we recently upgraded to Sage 2023. Since the upgrade some users have being reporting that the Customer Last purchase history (Red Binoculars) is not populating for them on sales order.

I first thought it might have been a permissions issue but some users who have the exact same permissions as other users can populate the box but others cant.

Any idea what might be causing this?

Did you check Role permissions?

Yes I created a test user and this user has those permissions and still gets this

Have you tried checking the Sales Order module date? In your screenshot it shows 1/2/2019.

Did you see KB# 221924660118303?

There appears to be a Defect, ID: 115040. I wonder how widespread this is?

I have a 2019 - 2022 upgrade I just worked on and they are reporting this. Sage Support says it will be "fixed in 2024"!!!

We had run in to this issue as well with a few clients and needed to use Nomads to correct the issue.

The button for the last purchase history on older customized panels that are converted forward to 2022 (and 2023) needed to have the ALEStart value updated to include cDisplayInactiveItemsInALE$.

In theory, the Update Panels to Current Version should have corrected these panels during the conversion process given that the Display Inactive Items in ALE was a feature added since the 'source version' of the migration, but apparently not.
