have we found a solution to this yet?  I am having the same problem.

We never found a solution, just got into the habit of manually going to the right place every time.

You could try adding the target directory to Explorer's favorites list so you can just click it.  

To add a location to the favorites, navigate to it and then right click the "Favorites" link and then click "Add current location to Favorites".
