Sage 100c window will not open

SUGGESTED

So this happened to 2 machines today.  Multiple displays, log into Sage 100c, and no windows open.  You can see the icon in the task bar.   Old fix, change display and only open on primary monitor worked on one machine.

For the other machine nothing is happening.  PVX is running.  We even disabled the secondary  monitor, no luck.  And I did a workstation reinstall.   Nothing.

We UNINSTALLED the 2 windows updates from last night and restarted the machine.   Still no luck.

You open SAge 100, log in, and then NOTHING.....   If you try again, it says a Business Desktop already started.  And PVX is running...

Anyone else have this issue with the latest windows 10 updates ?

Thank you

Lisa

Our most common fix (for a workstation startup problem) is removing the Sage 100 folder out of My Documents.

We never recommend using the Broadcast Shutdown, and our clients don't typically do that kind of thing themselves, but I've certainly heard of significant issues traced back to that feature.

Thanks for the tips.  Broadcast Shutdown in SY_System.M4T shows as already set to N.

This happened to 2 sage workstations as soon as they started up this morning, maybe a coincidence but...   The newer machine is the one giving me the trouble.  The older machine was an easy fix with adjusting sage back to the primary display, and the Alt-M did show sage.  But with this newer machine, nothing....      Both machines had windows updates last night.

I un-installed the updates.  I think I will completely remove sage workstation and then try a clean install and see if that fixes it.

    Always a windows update....

Did you try removing this file?  The KB article mentions renaming the folder, but I think this is the applicable file for that issue.
