Sage 100 Advanced v2022.3 - Can't Delete Customer Due to Cash Receipts History

Before I play the upgrade game, I figured I'd see if anyone has run across this issue: 

At least one AR customer - with no open balance - we run the Delete utility and it appears to delete all detail records except the customer is still in AR. The log looks fine, with no error messages when we run the Delete. Yet the customer is still in the AR customer master.

We go back to try manually deleting the customer in AR, and we get a message - "You cannot delete customers with Cash Receipts History records. Use the Delete/Change utility to change or delete customers with history". 

We did use the Delete/Change utility -- which gave no errors and nothing unusual on the log -- and I've verified that there is no open balance for the customer we're trying to delete.

Our only third party is Repay, and we are using their Click2Pay.

I sense that we should update to either the latest PU or a full version; however, I'm open to any other suggestions that don't require an update.
