We have several BOMs with Options that require removing one item and adding another when a specific option is selected.  Without this checkbox checked to allow negative quantities, we have to use Option Interactions which can get very confusing.  I would like to check this checkbox on in the Bills of Material Setup screen, but I'm hesitant because our original consultant never told us this was even an option so I'm wondering if there's a down side.  We also use the Work Order Module, so I need to make sure checking this checkbox won't impact Work Order Travelers.  We are on Sage 100 Advanced ERP 2013 (Version 5.00.4.0).  Any insight would be appreciated.
