MAS 90 WO are my new assignment. I'm looking for a good tut to get started on this.

I have one week of training on Sales order entry and BOM.  Now my boss is pushing me to get the work orders up and running.  I'd like to find a good tutorial, or some resources.  Where do I start?  Is there any hope for me?  I've checked on youtube.  There are a ton of videos.  I don't see anything that is specific for MAS 90 and sage.  I need something basic to help me get a foundation so that I can roll out the WO system.  Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

For Sage product specific information videos, you can check Sage University at www.sageu.com.
Also, Knowledgebase Articles (not videos) are available for many Sage 100 modules with some How To information.
In addition the Help inside Sage 100 contains information on specific tasks and may be useful.
You may want to contact your Sage authorized partner/reseller regarding group or individual training for users too.

The PDF manuals were pretty good and still apply. Since you are referring to it as "MAS90" (bless your heart) this would indicate you have been on it for a while. Have them look through their old disk if they have them for the manuals and find the one for Work Order.

In my opinion trying to learn work order by yourself, even with documentation, is going to be very difficult. It is not an intuitive process. You need to find someone with Mas90 Work Order experience to assist. They will get you up and running much faster than trying to do it on your own. I suppose too that it would depend on the complexity of the products/work orders that you will be creating though.

Also, make sure everyone knows that work order is no longer being updated. It is in an older file format and has less flexibility than you may be used to in other modules.

bite your tongue. If you had been at the Sage Summit you would found that Work Order IS being updated. First it is moving to the business framework and currently they are asking for suggested improvements to the module.

Not to Hijack the thread but that is very interesting and not what I have been told. Wonder what changed? That may be a game changer for us. Will they make it available on the SQL version too?

If it is going to the framework then I expect it to go to SQL.
