You may also try clicking the "recalc price" box at the bottom of the Sales order Entry window. This may adjust the line items back to your default system price, so you may have to edit the lines again to your specific selling price, but it may resolve an "out of balance" symptom like you described.

Sometimes when the lines get out of sync with the total tab this can happen and the best way to resolve is delete the PO, as long as nothing received yet, and start over. There could be additional issues down the road if it is not clean.

RECALC PRICE is used for SALES ORDER ENTRY and not P.O. ENTRY. - Sorry about that.
