If running the report from within Sage, you must use a 32-bit DSN.

The server is 64 bit so that is the only ODBC connection installed.  How can i manually install the 32 bit driver?

Installing Sage 100 brings in the 32-bit driver.  The 64-bit driver is an option from the installer.

Access the 32-ODBC interface through the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder.

Kevin - that is the one is setup.  It is not very intuitive since you access the 32bit drive in the 64bit folder..

From what program are you running your report, and what is the architecture of that program (eg. 32-bit Excel vs 64-bit Excel).

Kevin - Crystal Reports 2011, the one that comes with 2017  (right there with ya on MS)

That is 32-bit.  Set up the silent DSN (named something other than SOTAMAS90) using the SYSWOW64 utility, with login / default company code, and it should work.  Be sure to use paths in your DSN which are not admin only.

Kevin - this is EXACTLY what I have done and the users get prompted for a log in.   This is far from my first rodeo (25yr +)   Looks like I will have to troubleshoot as the user..

There is a flag within the RPT's data source to use the default DSN properties (Y/N).  Perhaps reset the data location within CR designer.  I've only seen problems with that and Premium / SQL... but worth a try.

I noticed that and have been researching how to change it - can't seem to find where it is set. In Crystal, it can't be changed.  So annoying..    Thanks for jumping in
