What are your favorite inventory reports to measure efficiency or accuracy? Does SAGE have any good native reports that yall use or is it better to make your own reports.
I've built a number of custom Sage Intelligence Inventory reports for clients. It depends on what you are looking for.
I would say a basic accuracy count, on hand it stating X and physical count = Y, what's the percent difference.
You may be better off pulling on hand data from IM_ItemWarehouse into Excel. Add a column for the cycle count, then formula/column for the percent difference.
Are you looking for this report to be run while you are doing Physical Count? Otherwise how will the report be able to find the "Count" Qty's?
I am importing into the physical count entry table, a spreadsheet with correct on hand counts for the particular item per warehouse, the only issue I have is the export I am creating contains the total on hand for all warehouses, still not sure how to get it to show just one warehouse just through the item maintenance view.
IM_ItemWarehouse.
Remember, physical count works through comparing the frozen quantity with the counted quantity. You need to catch Sage data entry up to a point in time, stop moving everything, freeze, count...
Are you exporting from the Sage 100 Inventory?
Even better than IM_ItemWarehouse is to catch Sage data entry up to "now", freeze, then query IM_Physical.
No just the Item Maintenance explore view.
There in lies the problem we do not utilize multi bin or any kind of WIP warehouse. So when we count an "item" not all of the OH inventory is on the shelf. I created a spreadsheet with some logic based on udf's to give us a number to add to the "physical count" we are logging down. I then import the corrected "physical count" into IM_Physical.
