Thank you for your response, I get a prompt to select an account number from the accounts available, and I selected an account the report already has also after I gave the filter criteria in those subreports it didn't make any difference after I ran the report.

I actually want to reduce the amount of data the report retrieves since it takes a very long time to run the report, I'm not sure if this is the correct approach for this.

Any advice or solution for this ?

The standard Report Designer Financial reports don't come with a GL Account number selection?

Are you using a modified version of the these reports?

Yes it is a modified version and when the report is completely loaded I can select the GL account I need on the report itself, I wish I could send it to you, unfortunately my hands are tied.

If you could give me some advice based on the nature of the report I mentioned, I could try it out or else its fine and thanks for all your responses.
