As I am only a SAGE USER and not any kind of programmer or script writer: (this pertains to ERP100 vers 5.20.2.0 but you may have something similar)

I would suggest going into PAPERLESS module and use the CUSTOMER VIEWER. Select form type as STATEMENTS. Here you should see which PDF's were created but not sent. Sort the "SENT" column by clicking on the header. This will put all your 'not sent' in 1 group. You can then highlight the ones that did not send, use the "open PDF" icon (or Alt+F keys) and then print the PDF once opened.

At the time of printing, you can choose to Print OR email, based on that customer's settings. If I had invoices I wanted to print or print into Paperless, I would use Invoice History Printing and print AND PDF (not electronically deliver). I'm paraphrasing the print settings to pick but I think you should be able to follow.

Try the option for paperless of print/pdf for print delivery option.

For a more complete listing of option combinations. Click on the option for box for paperless when printing and then click F1.

The "catch" to the scenario proposed by the original question is that statements were already sent for the month and electronically delivered for those who are set up to receive as such.
By doing the print/PDF for print option, won't that pull in all statements already sent again making it hard to decipher which ones have been sent and which ones have not ?

Look at the grid in the help that I directed you to. It should explain it.

Perhaps you could purposely "break" the SMTP settings in Company Maintenance, set the batch up as you normally would, and click through all the email related errors... then change the SMTP settings back to the correct values.

Or mark all customers with a flag in the "SortField" if they get the electronic statement, then use the selection criteria to filter those out from your batch.

Thank you Rhonda. I was able to only print the statements that do not have emails attached. I was worried that it would print all of our statements in our system and we have thousands! Only 10% of our customers still receive paper statements so it was a relief to see only 20 pages printed rather than all of them.
