Where did Crystal Reports go

SOLVED

First, let me say, we are a long time Sage user. Started with Mas90 back in the mid 90's.  I'm really tired of the way Sage has handled their accounts.  This newest issue is so annoying. Each year end we run vendor labels for files.  I just find the custom report I made years ago using Crystal Report Designer.  I usually double click on it, it opens up designer, and I just refresh to this years data, and we're done.   This year, nothing happens. The association from .rpt files to CR is gone. So I call SAGE, and their phone system basically says "Hi, we're too big for our britches and are too busy. Use online chat or the sage city forums..... Goodbye"  Ok it didn't say that word for word, but that's what I interpreted.   So I get on Chat, and the guy says "looks like you don't have CR as part of your bundle". Well, we have had Crystal Reports as part of our bundle for the last 20 years!  But I guess this is now something different, that you have to buy CR just like now Payroll is something we have to buy different?

The CR install is not part of workstation setup.  Look in the server install files you downloaded originally.  I believe 2 seats of CR are included with Sage 100, but don't quote me on that.

What Version are you running?  Did you recently upgrade to the version you are on, and if so did you install Crystal on the workstation?

Is this different than the folder \Crystal Reports 2011 for sage\    ?  The chat support person was having me run the setup.exe under that folder, but when I click on it, nothing happens at all. Tried as administrator, lowered my UAC to 0.   Nothing. That's when they said "Oh, looks like it's not part of your bundle".   So where would I find the server install files?  We use it as a stand alone program on 1 workstation.

We recently re-installed Sage100 on a new workstation for someone. It's version 5.30.2

Crystal Reports Designer is included with Sage 100 in the installation files used to install Sage 100 (after product title changed from MAS90/MAS200).

For information on installing Crystal Reports Designer, you can read the full Knowledgebase article # 20437 on our Sage Portal https://support.na.sage.com for details but below is the summary of installation process for Crystal Reports Designer.

Note: you can also install from the Crystal Reports install files folder (Crystal 2011 or Crystal 2016) depending on the version of Sage 100.  See the full Knowledgebase Article for details.

    To install Crystal Reports Designer:

    1. From the machine in which you would like to install Crystal Reports Designer, access the Sage 100 installation files (files used to install Sage 100 not the ..\MAS90 folder where the program is installed to).
      • Note: This is the location where the Sage 100 version download executable was run and was extracted to.
    2. Right-click Autorun.exe
    3. Select Run as administrator
    4. Select the applicable product:
      • Sage 100 Standard
      • Sage 100 Advanced
      • Sage 100 Premium
    5. Select Productivity Applications
    6. Select Install Crystal Reports Designer
    7. Follow the installation wizard to install SAP Crystal Reports Designer

This is the one I've been working from. It doesn't work.  You didn't paste the whole thing in (See below)  When I click Autorun, those options don't show up on mine. My choices are:

    Install Sage100 Standard 2016 Edition

Install Federal and State eFiling and Reporting

    Install Acrobat Reader

    Install Sage Adviser update

My choices don't match the choices below.  Then when I choose the alternate method, I run the setup.exe as administrator, and nothing at all happens. No install program starts.

    Start of KB 20437

Note: Only one version of Crystal Reports should be installed on a workstation. If one version is currently installed, and another version is subsequently installed, some of the files laid down by the previous installation will be overwritten by the most recent installation (even if the most subsequent installation is of a previous version). This may cause error messages or problems when attempting to create, modify, or print Crystal forms or reports.

The Workstation Setup client installation for Sage 100 will install a runtime version of Crystal Reports that allows for print or preview of forms and reports.

To create or modify Crystal Reports forms and reports, install Crystal Reports Designer to the workstation. Select the Typical installation option, which uses pre-assigned settings.

    To install Crystal Reports Designer:

    1. Access the Sage 100 installation files
      • Note: This is the location where the Sage 100 version download executable was run and was extracted to.
    2. Right-click Autorun.exe
    3. Select Run as administrator
    4. Select the applicable product:
      • Sage 100 Standard
      • Sage 100 Advanced
      • Sage 100 Premium
    5. Select Productivity Applications
    6. Select Install Crystal Reports Designer
    7. Follow the installation wizard to install SAP Crystal Reports Designer

    Alternate method (for Sage 100 versions 2013 - 2017):

    1. Access the Sage 100 installation files
      • Note: This is the location where the Sage 100 version download executable was run and was extracted to.
    2. Open the Crystal 2011 folder
    3. Right-click Setup.exe
    4. Select Run as administrator
    5. Follow the installation wizard to install SAP Crystal Reports Designer

Alternate method (for Sage 100 2018):

    1. Access the Sage 100 installation files
      • Note: This is the location where the Sage 100 version download executable was run and was extracted to.
    2. Open the Crystal 2016 folder
    3. Right-click Autorun.exe
    4. Select Run as administrator
    5. Follow the installation wizard to install SAP Crystal Reports Designer

Note: If the same version of Crystal Reports already exists on the workstation, you will be prompted with a menu to Modify, Repair, or Remove the program.

Note: For previous (retired) versions of Sage 100 (formerly Sage MAS 90 or 200) versions 4.40 or below, Crystal Reports Designer came on a separate installation disc along with the main Sage MAS 90 or 200 installation disc. These discs are no longer available from Sage.

The server install Autorun is different than the workstation install Autorun.

Thank you Kevin.  I found it.  I was using the autorun.exe under the wksetup folder.
