"Sage 100 has stopped working"- Windows 10

SOLVED

Getting an error message that Sage 100 has stopped working specifically when launching attachments in Sage. Only occurs on machines that have Windows 10 and Office 2016 installed. Issue doesn't occur on any of our Windows 7 machines that have office 2016 installed. 

Researched in the Knowledge-base and some articles that are similar state to run application as administrator. This doesn't fix the issue. Also logged into pc as admin and it still causing Sage to crash.

Any other ideas that I could try?

    Unfortunately never got it resolved. Sage wasn't much help with either.

    Had to go with a work around. We used to store our customers special requirements in a word doc's, now we have an external program that converts them to pdfs and then we just point to the pdfs instead of the word doc's, which works.

    And then we just instructed our users that anything they attach to a customer memo must be a pdf. 

    I would love to know if you come across a solution though.
