I have processes showing up in the master console that don't exist on the system. How do i get rid of them in the master console? They are both country code maintenance programs
What version of Sage? Standard / Advanced / Premium? Master Console "Station" column = server or user machine?
SAGE 100 Premium. Station name my RDPd session system. But I'm on the SAGE server when I'm looking at the process ids
With Premium, the red "X" (on the right) should allow you to terminate processes from within Master Console. Logging off your remote session could end the processes too (if they were started in that session).
Otherwise, the PID you see in Master Console is the PID for the process thread on the Sage server. Add the PID column to Windows Task Manager to identify which pvxwin32 processes matches those MC entries. If you are sure they are truly locked / orphaned threads, kill them in Task Manager.
Rebooting the Sage server would certainly reset everything too.
Never even noticed that red X :P ... Rebooting the server is a last resort. The issue is that the process doesn't exist on the server anymore, it is just showing up in the master console so there is no process to kill. I'll just leave it alone until I get a chance to reboot the server - thank you.
I've personally never known a process to be in Master Console and not running somewhere (either workstation or server... one or the other).
Logging off the workstation / terminal session should end client side threads. Otherwise match the PID to a server thread in Task Manager.
I found the process details right before I read your last post. The PID is in there. I was only looking at the service PIDs before. Now I'm looking into how to run the task list as admin. thanks
