Crystal Reports 2020 Install

SUGGESTED

I am working on an upgrade of Mas 100 2020 to 2023.  It's gone well so far but I need to install the Crystal Reports 2020 designer on my workstation.  I cannot find the installation file.  The "Sage 100 Installation and System Administrator's Guide" states to:

"To install SAP Crystal Reports Designer to the workstation 1. Start the Sage 100 installation program, and on the Autorun screen, click Productivity Applications."

The problem is that when I open the workstation install via the autorun.exe file there is no choice for "Productivity Applications".

Am I missing something here?

The Crystal Reports Designer Install is not part of the workstation install.  The directions tell you to "start the Sage 100 Installation Program" (not the workstation programs).  From the Sage 100 Installation you can choose Productivity Applications and then Crystal Reports from that productivity applications sub-menu.  Or, look for the downloaded v2023 Installer files.  There is a Crystal 2020 folder, you can install Crystal Reports from that folder.

I would not suggest following other links provided for Crystal Reports.

Hi  - I would like to second the motion from  regarding using the links sent by  . Those might work for standalone Crystal Reports systems, and sometimes Sage does direct us to download patches or other programs from the Crystal/SAP website, but you need to remember that Sage sends us an OEM version of Crystal Reports which is specifically designed to work with Sage 100.

By way of example, here is the title of the program when you go to install it:

As an FYI, at least with the previous version of Crystal, you will want to disable WebRoot, if it's running, prior to installing the Crystal Designer. They don't like each other.
