Oh, and I did email successfully using a non-STANDARD report setting, then use that named report setting in the Task Scheduler (hoping the value would be retained somehow in the report setting) but the From address was not saved.  Same error.

It should be using the E-mail Address on the Main folder of Company Maintenance for the company specified in the task scheduler job.
