A user is trying to enter a Sales Order.   They need to enter two Special Items.   Sage allows enter of one of the special items.  The other, when entered, the * is removed and it uses the regular item (Same ItemNo minus the *)

Any ideas on why it would allow one special item and not the other?  
What are the situations where I enter
