I don't know if it will work for that print object, but this is how that is normally done:

Enable this option in Company Maintenance:

Then add a blank formula field to the Crystal Report form spelled exactly like this (added to the page footer...):

If that printing object has implemented the function, the correct value will be passed in memory during the printing process.
