Some of our users have been receiving this message lately when they try to build a new inventory number, we know for a fact that it is not been being changed by another user because we are currently building it.
I see this when they have the same panel open twice. Make sure they don't have multiple inventory panels open at the same time.
Thanks for the reply when happens again I will have user check.. but I'm betting this is correct. Our users have are always doing that..
Well I was wrong user told me he has been making sure only one panel open and is still happening now almost every time. Funny thing is when he does this in another company it doesn't happen..
Any customizations / scripts running against CI_Item?
Turn on IM auditing, and then check IM_Audit for details of what might be happening in the background.
Scripts no as far as customization are you talking screen like in custom office

I used "customization" in the general sense. Enhancement, SQL trigger (if using Premium), automated VI imports, BOI integrations... anything that goes beyond default Sage programming.
No BOI, auto VI imports or Enhancements but there was some SQL Triggers added for SO.. I didn't but old IT director did she created an SO audit report that would provide each time user made a change to SO.. It didn't tell what changed just who made change, what type of change (update, delete...etc) and time.
