 With Sage Summit 2014 one month away let’s highlight some Sage 300 ERP sessions you should check out while in Las Vegas.

Unless otherwise noted, all Sage 300 ERP sessions fall under the Business Performance in the Digital Age track.

Let’s break down the Sage 300 ERP sessions you can find during Sage Summit 2014 day by day. All times listed are Pacific Daylight Time.

Tuesday July 29, 2014

Start off your Sage Summit 2014 experience by learning all about the road ahead for Sage 300 ERP.

  • The course, entitled Sage 300 ERP: Road Ahead will be held from 10:30 am-Noon. Hear Donal De Paor, Karen Hyman and Guillermo Tellez as they share what's coming from the Sage 300 ERP team in 2015 and beyond. Look for BUS-137 in the session calendar.
  • Still on an older version of Sage 300 ERP? In this session, Richard Jang and Donal De Paor will outline the Benefits to staying current with Sage 300 ERP, what’s new in 2014. This session will be from 3pm-4pm. Register for session BUS-112 

  • And at 4:30pm-5:30pm, Susan Moore will give an in-depth look at the new Report Designer features available in Sage Intelligence Financial Reporting for Sage 300 ERP 2014. Look for the session entitled Revolutionizing financial reporting for Sage 300 ERP (Hands-on) in the Sage Summit 2014 session schedule. If you are interested in attending this session, make sure you register for BUS-250.

Wednesday July 30, 2014

  • This session, entitled Getting information out of your system: Overview of reporting solutions in Sage 300 ERP, has Randy Bacchus and Deborah Hill covering SAP Crystal Reports, Intelligence Reporting, Sage Financial Reporter, and more. Hopefully, you will learn which of the built-in and add-on reporting tools in Sage 300 ERP will meet your needs. Time: 10am-11am. Look for BUS-160 in the session catalogue.

  • Sage 300 Online is the newest product to join the Sage lineup. In this session, entitled, Sage 300 Online overview and road map, you will see how Sage 300 Online enables you to get more done with anytime, anywhere access, connecting all areas of your company, and make better business decisions. Topics covered include multicurrency and Visual Process Flows. Time: 10am-11am. Register for session BUS-236.

  • At 2pm-3:30pm, this course, under the “Navigating the Regulatory Landscape” track, is all about sharing the benefits of Sage 300 ERP payments processing. Look at for the session entitled Experience the simplicity of Sage 300 ERP integrated payments in the Sage Summit 2014 session schedule. This session is listed as NAV-261 in your Sage Summit 2014 session catalog. 

  • Installing Sage 300 ERP on Microsoft SQL Server? Then this session is for you. From 4pm-5pm, Richard Jang will share his secrets to a successful install using Microsoft SQL Server. Topics covered in this course, entitled Sage 300 ERP: Secrets to a Successful Install using Microsoft SQL Server, include selecting the appropriate database recovery model, how different RAID levels impact performance, creating appropriate database maintenance plans, using appropriate indexes for Sage 300 ERP finders, using DBDump and DBLoad, Maintenance Plans, and more.   • And at 4pm-5pm, Guillermo Tellez will take a Deep dive into the new Sage 100 and Sage 300 ERP Profitability Dashboard. If you are interested in attending this session, make sure you register for session BUS-104.

Thursday July 31, 2014 

  • Join us from 10am-11am as Deborah Hill and Richard Jang present Sage 300 ERP: Tips and Tricks (BUS-266). You will walk away with great tips for using both new and existing features. 

  • Also at 10am-11am, influence the design of Sage 300 ERP: Bank Reconciliation in session BUS-569.

  • Are you a business that increasingly relies on mobile? If so, then you will want to attend Achieve success in a mobile world with Sage 100 and 300 ERP mobile apps. The session runs 12pm-12:45pm and you will learn how Sage Mobile Sales, Sage Mobile Service, and Sage Billing and Payment will help you close larger deals, provide better customer service, and get paid faster. Look for session BUS-107 in the Sage Summit 2014 session catalog.
  • From 2pm-3pm help Donal De Paor and Richard Jang influence the design of Sage 300 ERP: Credit Card Processing. Register for session BUS-570.
  • At 4pm-5pm, Donal De Paor will take you through the ins and outs of Sage 300 ERP Federal and State eFiling. Register for session BUS-374.
