HotFixes Addressed in Sage 300 ERP 2012 Product Update 2 – Part Two

In an earlier blog we outlined some of the HotFixes that Sage 300 ERP 2012 Product Update 2 resolved. Now, in Part two we list some more.

HotFix 210-1004822 – Copy Order Function Does Not Display Qty Change

Fixed a problem that could occur when using the Copy Orders screen to copy a quote, which could cause an incorrect quantity to be displayed in the Qty Ordered field. This problem occurred if the quote you were copying had been copied from another quote, and had a different Qty Ordered than that original quote.

HotFix 210-1005708 - Account Set overrides revacct

Product Update 2 fixes the problem that caused imported contracts to use the general ledger accounts from the account set instead of the import file

HotFix 210-1005955 – Attempt to change read-only field “Warn Before Forcing Expired Pre-authorizations”

Installing Product Update 2 resolves the problem that prevented you from activating Payment Processing if you do not use Order Entry.

HotFix 210-1003108 – “Internal Error: field number is out of range” Error Occurs When Increasing Segment Length

Product Update 2 addressed a problem that caused “Internal Error: field number is out of range” error messages to appear when posting after increasing or decreasing the segment length.

HotFix 210-1004870 – Sage Advisor Update does not pickup available product updates

There was an issue when people installed Product Update 1 that caused Sage Advisor Update to incorrectly indicate that your Business Care plan was expired.

HotFix 210-1004953 – Optional Field does not display correctly

You may have noticed while in Sage 300 ERP 2012 when entering optional fields where the values are not set, the first letter suddenly becomes the last letter. Product Update 2 has fixed this issue.

HotFix 210-1005520 – The Item Wizard does not show Vendor Details when selecting existing items Inventory Control

Product Update 2 fixed a problem with the Items Wizard that could prevent vendor details from appearing for existing items. The problem could occur if you entered an item number and then changed it to an existing item number.

HotFix 210-1003964 – Discrepancy between the Total Available and Quantity Available Report in Ops Inquiry

We have noticed in Sage 300 ERP 2012 that when viewing the Total Quantity field from IC Item Inquiry, in the Qty. Avail. tab, the value displayed is not the same amount as on the Ops Inquiry, Quantity Available Report.

The only HotFix that was not addressed in Product Update 2 is:

HotFix 210-21899 – “Cstp xifo iloc mismatch" Error During Day End Processing

In Sage 300 ERP 2012, you may see the following error when processing day end in Inventory Control:

"Internal Error. Cstp xifo iloc mismatch error."

The cause behind the error might have been as the result of some ICCOST records being deleted unexpectedly. Whenever an item which has missing ICCOST records is encountered during Day End Processing will result in this error. If you are seeing this error, please download the HotFix.
