As we fast approach July 21, 2013 aka the first day of Sage Summit 2013, we thought we would outline some Sage 300 ERP sessions that you should check out while attending our annual conference, being held this year in Washington D.C.
Please note that all times listed are Eastern and session rooms noted are all located in the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center.
The first session that I want to highlight will be presented by our very own Simon Millichip, Supervisor, Customer Support, will be presenting three sessions for partners and customers at Sage Summit.
His first session for partners is on Sage 300 ERP Upgrade Best Practices. In this session, Simon will answer questions like what pre-upgrade preparation do you need? How should you prepare your environment? What's the most effective way to perform the upgrade? What needs to be done after the upgrade? This session will be held Monday July 22 from 2 pm to 3 pm in Annapolis 3. Register using the following code: P-61: Sage 300 ERP Upgrade Best Practices. This same session will be held for customers on Wednesday July 24, 2013 at 10:30 am to Noon in Annapolis 2. Refer to session number C-120 when registering.
Then on Tuesday, July 23 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am in Chesapeake D, E, and F Simon will be presenting a hands-on session on setup and configuration tips and tricks for Sage 300 ERP. Key topics will include web servers, web deployment, connected services, environmental hazards, optimization for multiple companies, location access, and much more. When registering, please quote P-65: Sage 300 ERP: Environment—Setup and Configuration Tips and Tricks--Hands-on. Customers will have their hands-on session on Wednesday July 24, 2013 from 3:45 pm to 4:45 pm in Chesapeake 10, 11, 12. Refer to session number C-134 when registering.
The third session that Simon will be presenting to partners will be on Tuesday July 23 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM in Chesapeake 7, 8, 9. This session will be a hands-on technical tour of the many tools used for monitoring, tuning, diagnosing, and solving issues that arise in the field. To register for this session, quote P-66: Sage 300 ERP: Technical Tour of Diagnostic Tools--Hands-on Customers will get the same hands-on session on Thursday July 25, 2013 from 2pm to 3pm in Chesapeake 10, 11, 12. But Simon isn’t the only one from our Sage 300 ERP team down at Sage Summit presenting cool sessions.
Donal De Paor, Senior Product Manager for Sage 300 ERP, will be on hand to present a session where he will share our product strategy and roadmap with details on upcoming product releases of Sage 300 ERP. Session P-60: Sage 300 ERP: The Road Ahead will be held on Monday July 22, 2013 from 2pm-3pm in Annapolis 3. This same session for customers will be held on Wednesday July 24, 2013 at 10:30 am to Noon at Annapolis 2. Refer to session number C-120 when registering.
Donal will also be presenting a session that will give you an overview of the new Payroll module and road map. We will also discuss the details of the new Payroll functionality in the Sage 300 ERP 2012 Product Update 1 release, including how to provide online payroll information to employees. This session will be held Tuesday July 23, 2013 at 8:30 am to 9:30am in Annapolis 4. When registering, look for P-59: Sage 300 ERP: What's New in Sage Payroll in the session catalogue. The same session for customers will be held on Wednesday July 24, 2013 from 2 pm to 3:15 pm at Annapolis 1. Refer to session number C-121 when registering.
And finally, for customers only, join us in an interactive session where Sage 300 ERP business analysts will be on hand to hear from you what features and functionality of Sage 300 ERP that you need to work to meet your business needs? Which requirements are must haves, should haves, and nice to haves? This session will be held on Thursday July 25, 2013 from 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm in Annapolis 4.
