Sage 300 ERP HotFixes for the Week of April 14, 2014

Every week, if available, we summarize all the recently released HotFixes for Sage 300 ERP (Accpac) that you can download.

Cannot Import in Sage 300 ERP 2014

We have noticed that in some cases, after selecting the import file in Sage 300 ERP 2014, nothing happens when the OK button is selected. Download and install the Hotfix found in KB article 30101. Also, this KB article contains addition information on this issue.

Printing reports causes a memory leak on a4wcontianerxp.exe

In Sage 300 ERP 2012, we’ve noticed that the memory usage of the a4wcontainerxp.exe may continue to grow when printing reports.  This may result in the computer(s) eventually running out of memory.

KB article 31303 contains the hotfix that resolves the issue. Before downloading the hotfix, pleasure that you’ve downloaded Product Update 3 and read the Read Me file for installation instructions.

Error: "Run-time error '2147467259 (80004005)'" message when closing the I/C Serial Numbers screen

While in Sage 300 ERP 2012, the following message appears when closing the I/C Serial Number screen

Run-Time error '2147467259 (80004005)': 
Method '~' of object '~' failed"

KB article 33469 contains the hotfix for Sage 300 ERP 2012 Product update 3. Please ensure that you follow the steps that are outlined.

Cannot import users or security groups in Sage 300 ERP 2012 PU3

In Sage 300 ERP 2012 PU3 the import of users does not work. You will not get any error or warning message. This issue wasn’t seen in Product Update 2.

To resolve this issue, please download the hotfix that can be found in KB 33101 contains the links to the hotfix for your appropriate version of Sage 300 ERP.
