Sage 300 ERP HotFixes for the Week of February 3, 2014

Every week, if available, we summarize all the recently released HotFixes for Sage 300 ERP (Accpac) that you can download.

Order Entry does not default to the Pricing Unit of Measure

In Sage 300 ERP, under O/E Options’ Processing Tab when the pricing unit is selected from the Default Order UOM dropdown, the program always displays the stocking unit of measure instead of the pricing unit of measure when entering an OE order.

KB article 30864 contains the HotFix. Please note that Sage 300 ERP Product Update 3 needs to be installed.

Error: “Assertion failed!” occurs when printing

While in Sage 300 ERP 2012, you may see the following error when printing:

This error most likely occurs when printing within custom wrapped UIs. KB article 30364 contains more details on the error as well as the hotfix. Please note that the hotfix applies to third party developers who use their own container to call the Sage 300 ERP views.

Work in Progress finder button does not respond in the PJC Contract Maintenance window

We have found in Sage 300 ERP 2012 that the Work in Progress finder button may not respond in the PJC Contract Maintenance window. No error message or warning is displayed when this happens.

contains the hotfix for this issue. Please note that the fix requires Sage 300 ERP 2012 Product Update 3.

2013 Electronic Filing for 1099 and 1096 Forms

In Sage ERP Accpac 6.0 and Sage Accpac ERP 5.6, the 1099 and 1096 US tax forms have been updated to meet IRS specification changes for 2013 such as the alignment and positioning of some information has been changed so that it prints in the correct area on these forms. KB article 29578 contains the hotfix that we resolve the 1099 and 1096 form issues for Sage ERP Accpac 6.0 and Sage Accpac ERP 5.6.

2013 T4 Laser incorrectly selects CPP exempt and EI exempt check box

In Sage 300 ERP 2012, Sage ERP Accpac 6.0 and Sage Accpac ERP 5.6, when printing T4 Laser to a preprinted T4 paper, the CPP exempt and EI exempt boxes are incorrectly checked. KB 29686 contains the hotfix for your appropriate version of Sage 300 ERP.
