Sage 300 ERP HotFixes for the Week of June 2, 2014

Every week, if available, we summarize all the recently released HotFixes for Sage 300 ERP (Accpac) that you can download.

O/E Transaction List report will display blank pages when Order Details option is not selected

In Sage Accpac ERP 5.6, there is an issue where O/E Transaction List report will display blank pages if you do not select the option to include Order Detail. The following issue occurs if an order exceeds a certain number of line items. To resolve the issue, download the in KB article 31353.


Error: "UI container has stopped working" message when pressing shortcut keys in the Description field for any Sage 300 ERP screen

You will see the “Sage 300 ERP UI Container has stopped working error” when pressing the following shortcut keys in the detail line item Description field, for any Sage 300 ERP 2012 screen in A/P Invoice Entry, A/R Invoice) Entry:

  • CTRL+C
  • CTRL+V
  • CTRL+B 

One workaround is to double-click or press the space bar on your keyboard in the Description field before using any shortcut keys. There is also a HotFix available in KB article 32923 that you can apply to resolve this issue. Please note that you need have installed Product Update 3.

In the Ops Inquiry IC Item Inquiry screen, when you click on the Item finder, the cursor focuses on the last column for the first record

We have noticed in both Sage 300 ERP 2012 and Sage 300 ERP 2014 that when you click on the item finder in the Ops Inquiry IC Item Inquiry screen, the cursor focuses on the last column for the first record.

You will only encounter this error if the item uses a single segment item structure or you are using the Microsoft SQL Server version of Ops Inquiry. Hotfix article 37116 contains the hotfix for version 2012 and 2014.
