Sage 300 ERP HotFixes for the Week of June 24, 2013

2 minute read time.

Every week, if available, we summarize all the HotFixes for Sage 300 ERP (Accpac) that you can download.

HotFix 210-1005568 – Employee Timecard Finder is very slow to load in US Payroll Timecards

If you are using Sage 300 ERP US Payroll 6.0, there is an issue when selecting the Employee Timecard finder, it takes a while to open or the screen may freeze and appear to hang.

We have a Hotfix that will address this issue as well as steps to duplicate it.

HotFix 210-1005701 – Print to File or Export Report does not default to Disk File or save the last option selected

If Print Destination is set to File, the program does not default to Disk File like prior versions.

After upgrading to Sage 300 ERP 2012, the user must select Disk File each time as the program does not remember what was used previously. This HotFix will resolve this issue.

The HotFix can also be found in KB article 210-1003813 – Cumulative Fix for Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0.

HotFix 210-1005955 – Attempt to change read-only field “Warn Before Forcing Expired Pre-authorizations”

We have noticed that when you try activating Sage Payment Solutions from Sage Accpac 5.6 to Sage 300 ERP 2012, you would get the following error message:

Attempt to change read-only field 'Warn Before Forcing Expired Pre-authorizations'

Run data activation for Payment Processing.

This issue was resolved in Sage 300 ERP 2012 Product Update 1 (PU1) only if you have the following modules installed: AR, OE, IC, etc…). If you are seeing this error even after installing PU1, please download the HotFix.

KB 210-1003303 - BI Installer Message On Terminal Server

You may have noticed when running Intelligence Reporting on a 2008 Terminal Server you may get the installer message especially if you are not a power user. This issue happens to customers who have the full product installed in the Windows Server 2008 machine and have the workstation setup in the 2008 Terminal Server. Resolving the problem requires you edit your Windows registry. KB 210-1003303 offers a detailed solution/workaround to resolve this issue. However, recommend that this work be done by your Sage Solution Provider or your Network/System Administrator. Also, make sure you backup your registry before attempting to make any changes.
