Removing local administrator in the workstation

Hi,

We are using Sage 300 v2017.

When the users run the Sage 300 program, they need to “run as administrator”.

However, our group IT wants to remove all local administrator account from the workstations & server.

And centralize the control at the domain administrator.

May I know will there be any impact on running the Sage 300 program?

Does it work in domain area without local administrator right?

Run REGACC and you should be fine.

Make sure that the users have correct permissions over the folder and files of both the Sage 300 Program Files and Shared Data. They basically need full rights over shared data, and write permissions on the Program Files. Once this is set, you will not need to 'run as Administrator'.
