A customer needs to have fixed pricing for their items, based on quantity breaks. IOW, buy 1 -4 at $10, 5 - 9 at $9, 10 -19 at $8, 20 - 24 @7, 25+ at $5.
Everything they do is a custom job, and all pricing/cost calculations to support this are external to Sage 300. They need to be able to put in fixed prices, not discount or marked up from another value. Contract pricing is what they're accustomed to using in their legacy system, but I don't see how to do tiered pricing in the contract pricing screen in Sage 300. We've considered using Price Lists is that they do not want the system to calculate anything, they just want to put the price list/quantities in the system and have Sage 300 grab the correct information.
We can work around it if we have to by setting a fake base price in the IC pricing function, and using the "amount" option to back into the unit price, but that does not allow the users to confirm that the prices are set correctly (as in example above), unless they actually place orders to confirm it.
Is there an easier/better way to set this kind of pricing up in Sage 300?
