Account Code Change 2022 Error - Damage Database if run and dont Print/Clear Log before !!!

SUGGESTED

Hi everyone,

Since I upgrade my customer to Sage 300 2022 a lot of issues with ACC. First we get an error and data damage because an A/P Job Details issue was in KB and fix. Later with an AR68AARRD critical error with invalid data directory that also damage but we also fix with some files of data directory tech support send us and copy to third party folder and fix. But last one its still there :

ERROR: "Access violation in module AIDBZ32.DLL" when posting a change in Account Code Change.

There is a KB fix to that. Solution ID 23062. But if you dont do that Log clearing before run ACC, you get error and data damage?

Any fix to this?

Thank you very much

Whether or not workstation setup needs to be re-run after a product update always depends on whether changes have been made to workstation setup in that particular product update.  You must search diligently in the product documentation to find that information; it is not prominent.  In the Release Notes, toward the bottom, under the "Installing Product Updates" section, you will find "The following product updates include changes to workstation setup:"  If you are upgrading to or through one of the listed numbers, then you will need to re-run workstation setup at all Sage 300 workstations.
