In Sage ERP 2018, is there any way to stop the Notes windows from automatically popping up when I enter an item number, etc, short of removing the feature? (i.e is there a registry or ini entry to modify its behaviour)
Remove the rights to Notes in the User Authorizations.
Even if the user does not have authorization to Notes, Notes pop-up still appears. It just disable the user rights to edit the Notes. I know the purpose of Notes is to alert the users but there are many users within our company that do not need to be alerted so Notes pooping up can be distracting and annoying for them. I hope someone can suggest a fix to this ASAP.
