We are creating a workforce management app to help with manpower distribution. The first thing we need help with is to set up a test server on network. This way we can insure that there wont be any complications that might hinder the active sage.

Secondly the app is going to allow management of crews and communicate to employees via text, where their job will be for the coming week. This is why we need to have the employee data pulled from sage.

Included with the employee data we need to get the job data as well, this info will just be Name, Location and Forman's contact info.

I have been tasked with helping find out what ever I can on API connection and ports regarding their connection. Does anyone have experience with API connection to the employee and Job data?

Has anyone had problems running a cloned server on the same network as the active server?
