The batch was never posted, or it posted with an error then the error batch was deleted.

As Jay says unless you can locate the G/L batch entry generated by such a Receipt.  If you locate the G/L Entry, drill up from it and let us know what you find.

We have posted the batch and printed the receipt also. but, now the whole entry is missing

The entry is not there in the batch. we cannot find the receipt entry even by admin search option

We have the Entry number and the printed receipt copy also. that is the issue

Posted entries cannot be deleted.  Look at the original batch, I'll bet you it had an error, then the error batch was deleted.

As Jay says that doesn't mean anything.  Posted batches cannot be deleted.  A deleted error batch will just show as Status = Deleted.  make sure you have "Show Posted and Deleted Batches" ticked on.

Also there will be no G/L transaction for the receipt posted to Cash at Bank or Accounts Receivable control.

Generally there is no reason ever to delete a batch in Sage 300, you should always fix mistakes by performing a reversal or entering a counter transaction for audit, so please remove the permissions to delete from general finance users.  It will save you a lot of trouble.  Error batches are designed for you to view the error report, rectify the problem then re-post the error batch.  All the best.
