WSCC is that referring to Workers' compensation codes??

If it is, the rates are controlled by the start date for "Current" and "Previous."  There shouldn't be anything to change on the employee record. 

thanks for the reply . greatly appreciate. yes it is workers compensaiton code. right now there are two codes set up 1 for  2022 and 2 for 2023. i have to create 3 for 2024 but when i see the individual employee window second tab (class/schd) 2 is selected for every employee . so i was wondering if i have to go to each employee tab and change that to 3 

WCC is setup to use one group for each province and within each group you can setup multiple codes and rates for those codes.  This eliminates the need to update employee records each year as you would use the "Current" and "Previous" feature to enter rates for the "Current" year.

I don't understand why you have to create 3 groups for 2024.  What need are you trying to resolve?

You could take your 2023 Group and update the "Current" rates for the current year and not change anything on the employee side.

you mean i just update row 1 (WC code with new Rate) because every employee is set at code 1?

Yes.  Change the dates for current and Previous.  Update the Ceiling for current and previous.  Update the rates for current and previous.

No need to change in the employee record.
