Overhead Allocation Based on Contract Value by Division

Hello,

I am looking to automatically have an overhead allocation hit each job based on the division in which the job was created. Does anyone know if this is possible? Specifically, I am looking to assign an overhead cost of 4% of each contract value to three of our 7 divisions. Any suggestions or advice would be great! Thank you!

Hello Houston,

Not sure if you are using Sage 300 Project & Job Costing or Sage 300 CRE (Construction) Job Costing section.. but if you have Sage 300 ERP PJC then it's possible to allocate the Overhead Expenses against specific Jobs/Projects/Categories.. but not sure if by "Division" you mean the GL Account Segment? so really can't answer this question without more detail.

Perhaps opening a support ticket may be a better option for this question.
