But G/L consolidation is too manual for this as our client has more than 8 subsidiaries. further it does not have advance currency translation capabilities.

Then use Insight.

We are already using Insight or Spreadsheet Analyst (as what it now called). I had a call with Global Soft and they are saying that there is a consolidation module available but it is no longer supported or available for purchase.

Then there is no tool that meets your requirements.

The most required functionality is below without which you cannot expect of doing consolidation.

1. Basic consolidation
2. Intercompany Elimination
3. Currency translation
4. Journal adjustment (automatic and manual)
5. Excel based report designing and viewing
6. Integration with Sage 300 ERP

GL Consolidations does all of that.

Maybe not #4, depending on what you mean with automatic adjustment.

Yes but its too manual further it is giving some error for which sage has no solution till date.

Uh, they have given an answer. There is an invalid character in one field, most likely a description field (account description or transaction description). The most likely character is a quote (") character. Edit the import files to find the character and remove it. Also review your GL account descriptions and transactions for invalid characters used.

Tairox sells a tool to automate GL Consolidations:

Add Orchid's Inter-Entity Transactions to your GL Consolidations installation to assist with the automation of eliminating entries, and add TaiRox's Automate GL Consolidation to assist with pulling information automatically. Not a perfect answer to all your needs but will help.

I tried this work around but it is too time consuming doing manually further i have also downloaded their fix but it wont work. Sorry to say but I need to do this for our all 8 subsidiaries and that too on monthly basis :(

If you correct the problem in the data then you only need to do it once, it should not happen again.

Tairox is solid, functional software, so I agree -  look at their GL Consolidation automation.

I believe that Orchids Process Scheduler also now allows you to schedule consolidations, so it's not manual anymore
