Ops Inquiry Procedure

Im trying to activate Ops Inquiry in Sample company. But when doing that, only in that company header desktop images dissapear from UI and if I tried to run any Icon I get Cannot run UI !!! Do I need to do something else? Create a UNI database for that company? Not sure whats the procedure. A customer send me a DBdump to install here and also use Ops Inquiry and I get same errors so something its missing for sure.

Just FYI, we found similar errors in Sage 300 2017 (PU2), and found a solution:

On activating OpsInquiry, we got the same errors: "header desktop images disappear from UI and if I tried to run any Icon I get Cannot run UI" plus module names disappeared from System Information. (Before activating OpsInquiry, UNI database did not exist, UQ entry did not exist in CSAPP, and there were no errors). Other company databases without OpsInquiry had no problems.

Exited Sage300 then opened it. Immediately got “Desktop has stopped working”. After lots of experimenting and  testing we realised we had been running Sage300 by running accpac.exe directly from the local programs folder, or from a desktop shortcut we made from it, but we had originally installed via a UNC address, so the Shared Programs, Shared Data and PATH pointed to the UNC address, not to the local drive. We then ran Sage300 from the Windows Start entry that was created by the installation, (and therefore pointed to the UNC address) and the problems went away.

The problems did not occur for databases that did not have OpsInquiry activated, and we could turn the problem off by reloading the non OpsInquiry data, and turn it back on by activating OpsInquiry.
